Curtain cleaning

Vacuum cleaner

Curtains that are not cleaned for a long time will absorb a lot of dust, which can be easily removed with a vacuum cleaner. The key is that it does not need to be disassembled or washed, which is very convenient! Clean it once a week and never worry about the growth of bacteria and mites again!

Steam cleaning

If you have a steam vacuum cleaner at home, you can use the normal mode to absorb the dust first, then adjust the steam mode to clean it again, and the curtains will be cleaned as new immediately. Parents who don't have a steam vacuum cleaner don't need to be discouraged, a steam iron can also have the same effect, and it can also remove wrinkles by the way~

Blackout cloth

Curtains of different materials have different cleaning methods. For example, the shading cloth must not be machine washed, otherwise the coating will be "mottled" and affect the shading effect. Just take a damp cloth and dip it in soapy water and gently wipe it.

Flocking cloth curtains

Many households use electrostatic flocking curtains. The fabric itself is not easy to get dirty, and it can be cleaned once every two months.

When cleaning, do not choose to machine wash or twist by hand, which will damage the surface flocking pattern, just use a sponge dipped in a small amount of alcohol to gently wipe it.

Velvet curtain

Velvet curtains are delicate, heavy, and textured, with a good shading effect, but they are easy to deform. In order to prevent the fabric from becoming hard and wrinkled, velvet curtains should be soaked in neutral laundry detergent, hand washed and lightly pressed, and dried naturally.

Cotton and linen curtains

Cotton and linen are natural materials, environmentally friendly and comfortable, but they are difficult to dry and prone to wrinkles. For single-layer light cotton and linen curtains, it is best to hand wash gently, and dry with water to prevent wrinkles.

For thicker canvas curtains, use a sponge dipped in a small amount of soapy water to wipe. Local stains can also be cleaned with toothpaste.

Polyester curtain

Polyester is the most common curtain fabric. It is durable and easy to take care of. You can usually clean it with a damp cloth. If you need to wash it, you can put it directly in the washing machine and clean it with a neutral detergent.

Venetian blinds

The blades of the Venetian blinds are most likely to accumulate dust and need to be cleaned regularly. Here you might as well try the "lazy cleaning method". Wrap the wet rag around the iron clip, dip in a small amount of cleaning solution, clamp the blade and wipe it back and forth, you can easily remove dust~

Screen cleaning

Old newspaper

Lay a layer of old newspaper on the screen window, use a brush dipped in detergent to gently wipe the newspaper, and remove it when the newspaper is fast drying, you will find that most of the dirt falls on the waste newspaper. Repeat a few times, and the screen will be restored immediately.

Onion

First cut the onion in half, then use the cut surface to lightly smear the screen window, then immediately wipe it back and forth with a clean sponge dipped in a little beer, and the screen window will become bright again~

Watering can

Mix the baking soda and white vinegar with water and put them in a watering can. First, spray the baking soda solution on the screen window, and then spray the white vinegar solution. After a while, the ash will flow down automatically along with the cleaner, and then wipe it with a sponge, it will be very easy. This method is especially suitable for cleaning high-rise screen windows~

Vacuum cleaner

Mix the baking soda and white vinegar with water put them in a watering can, and spray the baking soda solution on the screen window. Parents who have a vacuum cleaner at home can also use it to clean the screen windows. First, push the screen window to the front of the glass window, put several layers of waste newspaper between the two gaps to prevent the newspaper from flying around, and then stick the screen window with a vacuum cleaner to suck up the dust.

Pull and wash

For the foldable invisible screen, if the screen is pulled out at once, it is likely to damage the screen. We can follow the principle of "how much to wash and how much to pull", which will be relatively convenient. It is recommended to use a sponge with strong adsorption to prevent dust from flying around.
