There are two ways ---hanging ring and no hanging ring. The curtain rod with the hanging ring is curtained with fabric, which can be directly hung by its four-corner hooks.

The curtain rod without a hanging ring is hanged by the curtain poling or piercing rod.

Step1 Confirm the height and width of the curtain rod

Before installing the curtain rod, the location should be confirmed. The width of the curtain rod is determined by the width of the window, which needs to be 20~30cm more than the width of the window on both sides respectively.

The height of the open rod is located in the middle of the ceiling to the top of the window frame; the dark rod is usually at the top of the curtain box.

Step 2 positioning of curtain rod

In order to make it more solid, we need to calculate the fixed hole distance, usually fixed pieces of the interval should not be more than 50 cm, and then draw a line to the position.

Confirm the installation of the fixed position, we have to punch holes and fill in the expansion screws; if the base is wood,  the self-tapping screws can fix it!

Step 3 Install curtain rod

If it is a Roman rod, after positioning and punching, fix the mounting bracket, and place the rod on the mounting bracket.

If it is a curtain rail, we must finish assembling the curtain rail, using the top code or side code fixed to the ceiling or wall.

Finally, what should I pay attention to when installing the curtain rod?

[Choose different connection methods depending on the surface]

If the wall is wood, the screws of the track should be fixed in the wood board to determine the position.

If it is cement, we have to use the electric drill to locate the hole, the expansion tank knocked in, and then tighten the screws into the wall.

[Guarantee the solidity]

In the installation, picking rod matching brackets can avoid small brackets or easy damage.

In addition, for small brackets and the small wall contact surfaces, the size or number of nuts installed will also be limited, which will lead to the installation of the curtain rod is not solid enough.

[Ensure the installation level]

Curtain rod length needs to be longer than the width of the window coverings to avoid light leakage, while need to ensure the level, which can use a ruler to check.

[Time of installation]

As far as possible after the new house opening, or before the last cleaning installation, installation of early dust, installation too late to affect the cleaning effect.
